Politics of Apocalypse

“We are living in the end times.” We hear such talk from all sorts of sources. Almost never does it refer to the end of a world based on colonial and capitalist conquest. But isn’t it high time to imagine just that? With the dossier “Politics of the Apocalypse,” the BG seeks to address the ambivalence of apocalyptic narratives in an analytical and nuanced way. We want to explore the emancipatory potential of global upheavals in times of multiple crises, without closing our eyes to reactionary, authoritarian and fascist tendencies.
