More Information

The Trudbenik Workers’ Museum was established in the workers’ colony of “KMG Trudbenik,” one of the largest construction companies in socialist Yugoslavia. As shown in the video produced by the Radnički muzej Trudbenik Collective (including Rena Rädle) for BG’s “Black Box East” project, the museum documents the tradition of workers’ self-management and represents the struggle against the cruel and cynical attitude towards the life’s work of the workers who built thousands of housing complexes and institutions serving society and who – since privatization – live under the constant threat of being evicted from their homes.
