Ecology and Capital
The relationship between ecology and capital is complex. For example, they are an oppositional pair, and their relationship is based on incompatibility. This incompatibility is evident in the well-known fact that the capitalist economy and the Earth are heading for a disastrous collision, unless the global community changes course in time. It is also a one-sided symbiotic relationship, with capital attempting to convert ecological resources into commodities. This dossier critically explores this and many other aspects of the relationship between ecology and capital.
