Roxana Oprea
Roma feminist activist. She has been working in the NGO sector since 2010, implementing and coordinating projects with themes such as: community development, human rights, education, anti-discrimination. She joined the E-Romnja team in 2019 as a mentor in the “Sisterhood” mentoring program, which she then coordinated. She is currently an equal opportunities expert and is part of the association’s management team. Her main areas of interest are gender-based violence, reproductive rights, community development from a feminist and intersectional perspective. Since October 2022, together with Carmen Gheorghe, the president of E-Romnja, she teaches the course “The associative environment and the public policies of equality in Romania” within the Master Program “Politics of Equal Opportunities in Romanian and European context” – Faculty of Political Sciences, University of Bucharest.
