Paulina Domke
Doctoral candidate in the DFG Research Training Group Urban Future Making at HafenCity University Hamburg. She studied urban planning at HafenCity University Hamburg and taught on topics such as housing, urban renewal, and planning methods. In her research, she analyzes how municipalities deal with the urban single-family housing stock and examines how ownership regimes, governance constellations, institutional logics, and socio-cultural norms shape its continued existence and transformation. She is also involved in the Hamburg Enteignet initiative for the socialization of large housing companies and in the nationwide Mietendeckel Jetzt! campaign.
