
Natalia López-Rico
Historian from the National University of Colombia (Medellín), with a Master’s Degree and a Ph.D. in Latin American Studies from the University of Chile. Her research combines urban history, cultural studies, and literature. As part of this research, she is the principal investigator of the Fondecyt no. 11230303 (Chile): “Feeling and Narrating the End of the City: Ecocritical Affectivities in Contemporary Latin American Literature.” She is a researcher at the Social Sciences Research Institute (ICSO) of Diego Portales University and teaches at the same university. She is a member of the study groups Brasil en el Archipiélago mundo at the University of Chile and Distopia e Contemporaneidade at the Fluminense Federal University, CNPq, Brazil. She is also a member of the feminist collective Sin Fama ni Gloria.
