Nassim Mehran

Urban sociologist, who is currently a postdoctoral researcher at Charité Universitätsmedizin in Berlin. Her research focuses on the urban infrastructure and spatial dimensions of care, health, migration, and structural inequalities in cities, with careful attention to ‘the context,’ ‘the local,’ and ‘the social.’ In addition, she explores the complexities of transdisciplinarity and participatory research and advocates for alternative practices, especially during times of crisis.
