Miriam Fahimi
Researcher at the intersection of Science and Technology Studies (STS) and Critical Data Center Studies, focusing on the ecological and political implications of artificial intelligence and data centers. She is a Postdoc in the research group Philosophy and Ethics of Technoscientific Cultures at Paderborn University. As part of the ERC project Cultures of the Cryosphere, she investigates sustainability politics and conflicts surrounding the artificial cooling of data centers. She co-leads the research group “Standardizing Justice in the Algorithmic Society: Exploring Standardization Practices for Artificial Intelligence Systems in the European Union”.
