Laura Mücke

Research assistant in the research area “Everyday Media and Digital Cultures” at the Institute for Film, Theater, Media and Cultural Studies at the University of Mainz. Mücke’s doctoral project, which is based at the Universities of Mainz, Vienna and Groningen, discusses the seemingly omnipotent media experience concept of “immersion” against the background of various gender- and discrimination-sensitive media discourse analyses.
