Gresa Hasa
PhD candidate at the Faculty of Law and the Centre for Southeast European Studies at the University of Graz. Her research focuses on EU rule of law conditionality and justice reform in Albania. She holds degrees in Southeast European Studies, with a specialization in law and politics, from the University of Graz and the Central European University, as well as a degree in Political Science from the University of Tirana. Her academic work and regional expertise encompass the Western Balkans, nationalism, state capture, rule of law, and democratic backsliding. Hasa is the co-founder and editor-in-chief of the Albanian feminist magazine Shota.
