Dario Azzellini
EN / Political scientist, sociologist, author, and documentary filmmaker. He lived in different Latin American countries and is now based in the US, Mexico and Berlin. His studies focus on labour, social movements, self-management and critical political economy. He has conducted research into social transformation processes for more than 30 years with a special focus on Latin America and Europe. He has more than 160 academic publications, among them more than 20 books, 11 films, and more than 100 journal articles and book chapters, many of which have been translated into various languages. Most recently he authored Vom Protest zum sozialen Prozess: Betriebsbestzungen und Arbeiten in Selbstverwaltung (VSA 2018), co-edited Handbook of Research on the Global Political Economy of Work (Edgar Elgar 2023), and edited If Not Us, Who? Workers against authoritarianism, fascism and dictatorship (VSA 2021).

Zuletzt war er Autor von Vom Protest zum sozialen Prozess: Betriebsbestzungen und Arbeiten in Selbstverwaltung (VSA 2018), Mit-Herausgeber des Handbook of Research on the Global Political Economy of Work (Edgar Elgar 2023), und Herausgeber von Mehr als Arbeitskampf! Workers weltweit gegen Autoritarismus, Faschismus und Diktatur (VSA 2021).
