
Ana Vujković Šakanović
Historian, editor, and researcher from Serbia. Her academic and professional work focuses on the history of religion, minorities, and belonging in the Middle Ages. While deeply engaged with the past, she also addresses contemporary issues, exploring topics such as feminism, reconciliation, and modern forms of political violence and repression in the post-Yugoslav region. She holds a PhD in History from the University of Novi Sad, where she wrote her dissertation on multiculturalism and religious dynamics within the Franciscan order during the period of the Bosnian Banate. She earned her MA and BA degrees at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Belgrade, where she wrote theses on the cultural history of Yugoslavia and the historical geography of the Middle Ages.
